About Us
Genuine Leather, Rooted in Real Heritage
At Trendy Tannery, we've been crafting authentic leather goods since 2017, honoring a tradition of leathercraft that dates back thousands of years — evidence of leather tanning stretches back over 5,000 years to early civilizations across Europe and the Middle East. From Western wear shaped by 19th-century American ranch and rodeo culture to Bavarian Lederhosen rooted in 18th-century Alpine tradition, genuine leather has always stood for durability, function, and real craftsmanship — not fleeting trend.
We built Trendy Tannery around that same standard: real materials, honest construction, and designs that respect the heritage they come from.
What We Make
Our collection spans both traditional and modern leatherwear, including Men's Lederhosen, Trachten Jackets and Vests, Women's Leather Vests and Pants, Leather Chaps, and Western-inspired jackets and accessories. Whether you're building an authentic Oktoberfest look or a Western-inspired everyday outfit, every piece we make is grounded in genuine material and real construction — not costume-quality shortcuts.
Our Materials
We work primarily with ethically sourced cowhide, goatskin, lambskin, and suede, chosen for their durability, natural texture, and how they age over time. Genuine leather doesn't just look better than synthetic alternatives — it performs better, softening and molding to the wearer over years of real use rather than cracking or peeling.
Our Commitment
Every piece we ship goes through quality inspection before it leaves our hands. We offer sizing support for anyone unsure about fit, secure worldwide shipping, and honest product descriptions — because we'd rather you know exactly what you're buying than oversell something we can't back up.
Why It Matters to Us
Leather has always meant something real — protection, durability, identity. We're not interested in chasing trends with synthetic shortcuts. We're here to keep that same standard alive, one genuine piece at a time.
Trendy Tannery was founded in 2017 by David Coyle, built on a simple belief: leather should be genuine, construction should be honest, and every piece should last.
